Cameo Vases are blown vases composed of many different layers of colored powder glass infused together before the crystal glass covers the colors to create the swirled effect. Then the colors are dipped in solid black or white glass as the outer layer, or the core layer depending on if the color will be the design or if the solid black or white will be the design. The design is sandblasted into the vase to create the final product after several hours of cooling. Below are some examples both types of vases.
